You can add files to the list of Globally Excluded Temporary Files using the following dialog box.

Add excluded temporary files

Registered file types - Select this option to choose one or more known file types to be added for the selected path.
Custom file type - Select this option to add one or more custom file types for the selected path. For example, '.' will add all files in the selected path to the globally excluded file list.
Applies to the path - Enter or browse for a path name to be added to the excluded list of files.
Applies to all subfolders - Select this option to include files under all subfolders of the selected path. Otherwise, files in the subfolders under this path will not be added to the excluded list.
